Sames Ford Features a 3 Star Student And Student Athlete of the Week!

Around the Coastal Bend we have so many young, bright, and athletic people. We at Sames Ford wish them the very best for a bright future!




 

Congratulations to Jaghan Gutierrez, Student Athlete of the Week! 

Jaghan is a senior and an A/B honor roll student, a member of F.F.A and captain of the football team. He also plays baseball, basketball and golf. Jaghan is hoping to earn a scholarship to play football collegiately. His long term goal is to own his own welding company. Jaghan has spent numerous hours giving back to the Riviera community. Through F.F.A., he has participated in beach cleanups and other community improvement projects. He and the football team also assist in car rider lines for the elementary students every Friday mornings.


Congratulations to Tim Sanchez, Student Athlete of the week!

Sanchez, a senior, has a 4.67 grade point average, is a member of National Honor Society and is captain of the Picker football team. He is a multi-sport athlete in football, basketball, track and field and golf.




 




 


Congratulations to Miranda Sosa, of King High School, as our Student Athlete of the Week. Miranda, a senior, has a 4.1 grade point average, is a member of National Honor Society, vice president of student council, president of the King T.O.K.C chapter and captain of the volleyball team.
Miranda wants to continue her volleyball career in college and is currently entertaining offers. She will decide on her choice later this year. Her goal is to earn a degree in either business or criminology. If she decides not to play, she will attend Texas A&M Corpus Christi.
Miranda likes to spend time with her family going on nature walks along Ocean Drive, and at the nature park along Ennis Joslin. She has also spent numerous hours volunteering her time with the patients at Driscoll Children's Hospital.

Congratulations to Hailey Martinez, of Miller High School, as our Student Athlete of the Week! Hailey is a junior with a 3.8 grade point average and ranked number twenty in her class. She is currently taking AP classes and will take dual credit classes next semester. In addition to her academic success, she's also a multi-sport athlete for basketball, track and field and golf. Hailey wants to earn a degree in petroleum engineering in hopes of being a refinery operator someday. Her goal is to attend the University of Texas but will entertain attending a different college if an athletic scholarship is available.


Congratulations to Cesar Rodriguez, of Ingleside High School, as our Student Athlete of the Week! Cesar is a senior at Ingleside with a 4.2 grade point average and is ranked number three in his class. He is a member of the National Honor Society and is taking A.P. and dual-credit courses. After he graduates, Cesar will have around thirty college credits. He is also the captain for the Mustangs soccer team.

Congratulations to Olivia Gingrich, of Sinton High School, as our Student Athlete of the Week! Olivia is a sophomore at Sinton with a 4.2 grade point average, placing her at number ten in her class. She is a member of the National Honor Society and Student Council, all while being an important member of the Pirate tennis team.Olivia is planning on attending Texas A&M after she graduates in '27 and will enter a pre-med program to become an anesthesiologist.

Congratulations to Dietrich Lopez, of John Paul II High School, as our Student Athlete of the Week! Dietrich is a senior with a 3.8 grade point average. This is Dietrich's first year at JP II, he was at Banquete High School for three years prior to moving to Corpus. He was the treasurer for Student Council at Banquete.After graduation, Dietrich will attend college and pursue a degree in criminal justice. He intends to become a criminal defense attorney.

Congratulations to Victoria Gonzales, of Ingleside High School, as our next Student Athlete of the Week! Victoria has a 4.0 grade point average ranking her number three in her sophomore class. She is a member of the National Honor Society, sophomore class representative and F.C.A. Victoria is also taking dual credit classes and anticipates graduating with over twenty hours of college credits.Victoria, also known as "Daisy," is a tremendous multi-sport athlete at Ingleside.


Congratulations to Lucas Tinajero of WB Ray high school as our Student Athlete of the Week. Lucas, a senior with a 3.8 grade point average, a member of National Honor Society and F.C.-C.L.A. He is also a multi-sport athlete in both football but excelled as a four-year varsity starter for the Texan baseball team.Lucas will attend Wharton Junior College on a baseball scholarship next fall. He plans to major in kinesiology and is leaning towards becoming a coach.
