Congratulations Ryder Harrison, Student Athlete of the Week!
Gregory Portland High School

Congratulations to Ryder Harrison of Gregory-Portland High School, our Student Athlete of the Week. Ryder is a senior with an outstanding 106 GPA, ranking 8th overall in his class. He will graduate next summer with 47 dual credit hours, putting him just one semester away from entering college as a junior. Ryder is a member of National Honor Society, FCA, FFA, and competes in football and track & field.

Ryder's athletic career will continue at the collegiate level, where he has received multiple scholarship offers as a decathlete. He plans to announce his college decision on December 31st. Academically, Ryder intends to major in business management, followed by a master's degree in business management or construction science.

Beyond the classroom and competition, Ryder is deeply committed to giving back. He has spent countless hours serving the Portland community through Wildcat football and has been a camp counselor and mentor at Still Water Camp for the past three summers.

Ryder's dedication, leadership, and work ethic make him a true example of excellence on and off the field.

 

Congratulations to Abbey Sachanowicz, Student Athlete!

Congratulations to Abbey Sachanowicz of Incarnate Word Academy, our Student Athlete of the Week. Abbey is a senior with a strong 3.8 GPA and is deeply involved in campus leadership, including student council, T.O.K.C., and serving as an officer in the Anti-Human Trafficking Club. She is also a talented multi-sport athlete, competing in both basketball and golf.

Congratulations to Caitlyn Garcia, Student Athlete

Caitlyn is a standout senior with a 4.0 GPA, ranking 21st in her class. She's heavily involved on campus - National Honor Society, Student Council, T.O.K.C., Senior Council, treasurer of N.T.H.S., and even the Fishing Club! A talented multi-sport athlete, Caitlyn competes for the Tigers in basketball, golf, and track.


 

     

Congratulations to Andrew Charlebois, Student Athlete

Andrew is a standout junior with an impressive 4.07 GPA, a proud member of the National Honor Society and FCA, and is currently taking dual-credit courses with plans to graduate holding 12 college credit hours.
A true competitor, Andrew is a multi-sport athlete participating in football, track, and soccer. With strong interest from multiple colleges, he plans to continue his football journey at the collegiate level after his 2027 graduation. He intends to pursue a degree in criminal justice, with the goal of becoming a prosecutor, and eventually moving into criminal defense to open his own firm.

Congratulations to Ella Garcia, Student Athlete

Congratulations to Ella Garcia of John Paul II High School, our Student Athlete of the Week. Ella is a senior with an outstanding 4.7 GPA and is ranked number one in her class. She serves as president of T.O.K.C., student council president, is involved with Smiles for Miles, the Mitril Defense Team, and the Junior Catholic Daughters of America. She is also a multi-sport standout, competing in volleyball, cross country, and basketball for the Centurions.


    


   

Congratulations to Luke Lawson, Student Athlete! 

Congratulations to Luke Lawson from King High School, our Student Athlete of the Week. Luke is a junior with a 4.0 GPA, ranking 14th overall in his class. He's a member of National Honor Society and serves as student council parliamentarian, while also taking college courses through UT Austin.
 


Congratulations to Alyssa Thornton, Student Athlete! 

Alyssa is a junior with a 3.6 GPA and a standout multi-sport athlete for the Hornets. She competes in volleyball and the high jump for track and field, and was part of last year's state championship volleyball team.


  



 


Congratulations to Tripp Thompson, Student Athlete! 

Tripp has a 4.6 grade point average, ranking him third overall in his junior class. He is also incredibly involved in extracurricular activities like the National Honor Society, National Spanish Honor Society and T.O.K.C. Thompson is also a multi-sport athlete for the Texans in football, basketball, and track.


Congratulations to Aubrey Garcia, Student Athlete! 

Aubrey is a senior with a 5.59 grade point average, a Coyote Top 10 scholar, and ranked fourth in her class! 
She is heavily involved in extracurricular activities, which include as an officer in the National Honor Society, Student Council, and Athletic Leadership Council. Aubrey is also a section leader for the Coyote band and manager for the South Texas Strutters dance team.





 


Congratulations to Grace Martinez, Student Athlete! 

Grace is a senior at Calallen with a 4.3 grade point average. She is a multi-sport athlete in volleyball, track, basketball, and powerlifting. She also is a member of the F.C.C.L.A., and Fellowship of Christian Athletes.


Congratulations to Jaghan Gutierrez, Student Athlete! 

Jaghan is a senior and an A/B honor roll student, a member of F.F.A and captain of the football team. He also plays baseball, basketball and golf. Jaghan is hoping to earn a scholarship to play football collegiately. 




 




 


Congratulations to Tim Sanchez, Student Athlete!

Sanchez, a senior, has a 4.67 grade point average, is a member of National Honor Society and is captain of the Picker football team. He is a multi-sport athlete in football, basketball, track and field and golf.


Congratulations to Miranda Sosa, of King High School!

Miranda, a senior, has a 4.1 grade point average, is a member of National Honor Society, vice president of student council, president of the King T.O.K.C chapter and captain of the volleyball team.
